Poway Unified School District has undergone a literacy transformation since it partnered with IMSE. And with 61.5% of Poway's students identifying as students of color and 9.9% on free or reduced-price meals, the district's story is a win for equity and literacy.
By implementing IMSE's Orton-Gillingham Plus through cohort-based training and ongoing coaching, Poway Unified School District gave teachers multiple layers of support and set the stage for students' literacy skills to grow quickly.
